What, no blog?

Yes, you read that right: no blog. Not now; not ever!

I know they can be a good way of generating marketing interest in your product. It helps to keep you on the website and build up the algorithms, etc. All the marketing gurus highlight the value of having a blog and using that to send out flyers generate 'leads' (*). But then you end up reading a blog that is from eight years ago and wonder why the person has not updated it. But do you really want to hear my views on such and such a topic. Or, worse, some form of generalised - or even AI generated - blurb on some related issue that may be vaguely interesting but ultimately does not help you, or help move you forward.

Don't get me wrong: I believe there are some interesting blogs 'out there'. I do read them. The ones I find interesting, even useful, are usually written by people who are focussed on providing blog content. They have interesting views or angles on a particular topic(s) and their enthusiasm for that topic is clear. There may even be a link to click on for more information within the blog. Or a mention of their substack site!

That's not me or my interest.

My interest is YOU. I've lived long enough that I truly find other people - and their internal 'bloggings' to themselves - so much more interesting. That's the real stuff that has real meaning and depth. If I've got time to draft a blog, I'd rather use that time and space to research a particular topic relevant to you which I can use in our sessions. I'd prefer to use that same time to actively listen to you in our sessions. And, if I've truly got more time on my hands than I thought, I'd much rather spend it with my family! (Or deepening my self hypnosis practice, of course).

(*) Obviously, I will send you an email every six months reminding you that I don't do blogs: not now; not ever!
